Book Your Next Tee Time Online with an Open Table Site for Golfers

EZLinks Golf, Inc.’s CEO Gary Cohen, the company behind the new online tee time booking site summed things up, “Golf can be challenging. Booking a tee time shouldn’t be.” In the latest column from Crain’s Chicago Business Danny Ecker on Sports, Mr. Cohen said that online bookings for tee times rose 25% year over year as more golfers turn to mobile phones and tablets to secure tee times. Currently about 30% of Golfers search for and secure tee times on either a mobile smartphone or tablet device, and this is the audience they are catering to.

And isn’t the only tee time booking site out there, the current market leader is GolfNow, who is managed by NBC Universal’s owned Golf Channel. But is making no bones about it’s intentions to take market share from GolfNow, who can be considered the Goliath in this ‘David vs. Goliath’ fight for Golfers tee time bookings. Cohen also told Crain’s Danny Ecker, “Right now (GolfNow is) the bigger dog, but I think with TeeOff we’re coming at them hard.”

Along with the launch of, the company is offering the ability to secure tee times on courses all over the country exclusively offering daily deals on rounds up to 50% off through the site, as well as the ability to research courses. Currently the site allows golfers to book tee times on about 500,000 tee times on courses nationwide. Golfers can also search for courses using search parameters like location, name, price, or amenities. Singles and same day tee times are also available for those wondering. The service also includes maps, email confirmations in addition to allowing you to also email the other players in your group reminding them of their tee time, along with details on the course, name, location, etc.
